CJC-1295

Also known as DAC:GRF, Modified GRF (1-29)

It does raise growth hormone in people. Whether that turns into visible muscle or fat loss was never tested, and FDA has linked it to serious reactions.

What people claim

  • Long-lasting growth hormone boost
  • Builds muscle and burns fat
  • Anti-ageing

What the evidence shows

  • In healthy adults, a single injection raised growth hormone 2 to 10 times and IGF-1 1.5 to 3 times, with levels staying raised for six days or longer.[1]
  • These were short hormone studies. They did not measure muscle, strength, fat or appearance.[1]
  • FDA describes the available clinical data as limited.[2]

Known risks

  • FDA has identified serious adverse events including increased heart rate and a systemic vasodilatory (flushing, blood pressure) reaction.[2]
  • FDA flags possible immune reactions and impurity problems.[2]
  • Banned in sport as a growth hormone releasing factor.[3]
